This is the first course in a two-course sequence that investigates cells, tissues, organs, and organ systems of the human body. The focus of this course is on the organization of the body and the integumentary, musculoskeletal, endocrine, and reproductive systems. Metabolism and acid-base balance are also discussed.Dissection is required. This course meets the General Education competency of Scentific Reasoning (SR).
